Algeria Draft bill to criminalise dealing with Israel

Algerian lawmakers have proposed a draft bill to criminalise dealing with Israel, in response to the war it is waging on Gaza population.

• If approved, the law stipulates to call Israel the “Zionist Entity,” forbid any dealing with it and punish citizens who violate the law.
• It also prohibits making any ties or opening direct of indirect Israeli offices in Algeria.
• Article N° 4 bans the signature of any agreements or protocols with the “Zionist Entity” and trips to this state.
• Whoever violates the texts of this draft bill will not be allowed to hold any senior position in the government administration.
