Algeria drops civil status documents from employment examinations
Algeria’s Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal Thursday said the excutive decree No 12-194 established new rules to simplify applications to take public sevice examinations as it dropped civil and marital status documents.
« Laws on employment have been remarkably improved through the simplification of examination procedures. This aims at organizing transparent exams, » the Algerian minister of relations with Parliement Mahmoud Khoudri told members of the People’s National Assembly on behalf of Sellal.
« Now, applicants have just to submit necessary documents to chek their eligibility to those examinations according to legal conditions, » he added.
Applicants will have to submit their civil and marital status documents after they pass the exams.
Speaking about examinations based on degrees, applicants must submit work certificates and school reports.
