Algeria-Egypt play off: thousands of Algeria fans resolved to go to Sudan
Thousands of Algerian fans gathered in the city Monday in support of the national team and hoping to buy plane tickets to Sudan for the World Cup play-off match against Egypt.

They were shouting “One, two, three. Go Algeria!”, “We are with you Saadane (the national coach),” “We are going to Sudan.”

Some angry people attacked the building of Egypt Air in protest against attacks on Algerian fans in Egypt.

People are rushing to street sellers to buy sport shirts, flags, caps coloured with white, red and green.

A large number of CDs and tape cassettes of football songs praising the national team are bought from various shops. Some people preferred to turn their stereo systems lower to let people in the streets listen to those songs and express support to the national team.
