Algeria FLN party: new prime minister appointment is no more than technical change
The National Liberation Front (FLN) did not consider the appointment of its rival Ahmed Ouyahia as Algeria's new Prime Minister as a failure in the government's affairs management during the last two years.
-
According to the FLN, it is a matter of a technical change “in view of current conditions as there is a need to concretise Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika’s programme.”
-
The FLN’s spokesperson Said Bouhedja told Echorouk : “in the level of our command, we have positively assessed this change. We know that it has something to do with the current phase requirements.”
-
“This change comes to reinforce the line drawn by the president,” he added.
-
Bouhedja considered that the most important is an agreement between the FLN and the RND, Ouyahia’s party to implement the president’s programme. “Our most important work is the draft bills of the constitutional amendment and third mandate for the
-
president.”
