Algeria : government creates special fund for terrorism victims

Algerian interior ministry in cooperation with the finance one issued an order which consists in creating a special fund called “ Terrorism’s victims compensation fund” dedicated to the victims of terrorism and the victims of the “Black spring”, in reference to the upheavals witnessed by the Kabylie region .

According to declarations made by the solidarity minister, Djamel Oueld Abbas , the government has dedicated some $1.5 million to support the victims of the national tragedy and $500 thousands have been spent to compensate 6952 families so far.

As for the reintegration of the repentant in their works again, the same source revealed that some 5000 case have been recorded, but the possibility of seeing this category of people employed in strategic sectors such as schools or mosques again, is definitely rejected.
