Algeria hosts workshop on Al-Qaeda and Taliban movement

A workshop on sanctions regime against Al-Qaeda and the Taliban movement are due to be organised at the Republic Presidency Monday and Tuesday as part of UN Security Council Resolution 1267.

• According to a statement released by the Presidency, the workshop will be intended to representatives of ministries, judicial, financial and security institutions concerned by the execution of those sanctions.

• “Algeria, following the example of other members of the international community has taken appropriate measures to apply those resolutions since they were approved,” said the statement.
