Algeria in the final stage

Algeria assured its place in the final stage of qualifying for the world cup and the African cup of nation after a draw in Monrovia against Liberia today.

Senegal are out after they managed only a draw (1-1) at home against neighboring Gambia in Dakar. The Algerian national team confirmed progress it made with the new coach Rabah saadane as they ended the round first in group 6 with 10 points.
