Algeria: Kadiria bomb was remotely controlled

The bomb which killed a school girl and wounded two others Sunday in the area of Kadiria in Bouira Province (90 km east of Algiers) was remotely exploded by a Nokia cell phone, according to local officials.The bomb which consists in a gas bottle loaded with explosives went off next to a security check point and a high school at around 8:15 a.m. (local time).Mayor told Echorouk the wounded school girls will be taken to a hospital in Algiers for treatment. Another hand-made bomb which was believed to target policemen was defused in the same town. Roads in Bouira were all blocked for fears of other attacks.
