Algeria makes committments to WTO

The Wold Trade Organization (WTO) accepted to hold a new official meeting with Algeria as the country committed to give accurate answers after five years of hesitation, Echorouk has learnt.

Algeria committed to fight the black market which represents 40 percent of circulated money in the market. It also committed to ensure transparency in commercial transactions and to ban restrictions on foreign investment in non strategical sectors stipulated in the Complemntary Finance Law 2009.

The government will apply free prices on gas intended to industries meant to exporting. This point used to hinder negotiations between Algeria and the organization.

Algeria also committed to give an equal treatment to public and private sectors and stop excercicing unanounced restrictions on private local and foreign sector.
