Algeria MPs call on Parliament for special session on Gaza

Algerian MPs deputies demonstrated at the Parliament’s headquarters Sunday calling on the Algerian National Assembly’s speaker Abdelaziz Ziari to hold a special session on Gaza attacks.

• The protestors criticised the position of Algerian government and urged it to “take a heroic position to stand by oppressed Palestine’s side.”

• At least 280 Palestinians have been killed and 600 people wounded since Israel start firing missiles on the Gaza Strip ruled by Hamas movement.

• The Algerian deputies called on the government to offer financial support, relief and receive wounded Palestinians at Algerian hospitals.

• They urged Arab governments to stop the “aggression and boycott the attacker,” calling for lifting Gaza blockade and saving its people from the “genocide.”
