Belhoucine’s family refused to give Safia to the French Jacques Sharlbook after he obtained a judicial decision for her custody last February. A letter was sent to the parliament’s second chamber urging him to adopt this issue, which emerged in 2005 and turned recently into a state issue.

The letter indicated that French Jacques Sharlbook who is claiming paternity of this child refuses until now to do DNA analyses to prove that.
