Algeria : Party leader endorses Bouteflika's candidacy for third presidential term

National Liberation Front party’s general secretary, Abdelaziz Belkhadem announced that his political movement will organize both his national meeting and exceptional forum all together just after the announcement of the revision of the constitution.

• This is a clear signal launched by the party’s leader in which it announces the support of the party to a third presidential term for the Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
• Answering to a journalist question as concerns the delay in the organization of the party’s national meeting, M Belhadem replied that this was done on purpose because it has to do with announcement of the president to revise the constitution, adding “ The party intents to announce its support for the candidacy of Abdelaziz bouteflika for the 2009 presidential elections”.
