Algeria Police Chief: anti-riot troops and studies on people’s social life

General Director of National Security Department in Algeria Colonel Al Tounsi Tuesday said security forces will be provided with anti-riot troops and institutes will be set up to conduct security studies on people’s problems behind riots.

• On the other hand, Colonel Ali Tounsi mentioned that national security structures in terms of schools and training executives can not afford to train more than 15,000 policemen per year.
• Speaking on recent riots in many provinces in the country, Tounsi told Echorouk that security forces will work in coordination with local authorities to prepare studies and enquiries on people’s social conditions.
