Algeria police station attack: suicide bomber tried to escape before explosion
The suicide bomber behind an attack on a police station in Tizi Ouzou province (100 km east of Algiers) Sunday has not been identified yet. He was on a white Peugeot car and directly went using maximum speed to the southern side door of the police station, Echorouk's has learnt.

The suicide bomber tried to get out of the car before the explosion but before he could not. The blast destroyed 14 apartments and a whole wall of an army barrack collapse. A total of 25 cars were damaged as well including 15 belonging to security forces.

Other security sources reported that the car was loaded with about 1,000 kg of explosives. Ten minutes later, scientific police started collecting remnants of the suicide bomber’s body and his car 100 meters from the bombing place.
