Algeria / Quackery and magic spells in a courtroom in the city of Oran
The use of quackery and sorcery has ostensibly come to the rescue of a murderer who was to be tried by the criminal court of Oran, in western Algeria.

As a matter of fact, the leading magistrate who presided over the trial of a young man who was accused of murdering his uncle, finally decided abruptly to adjourn the court’s proceedings to the surprise of all those attending.

After the departure of everybody from the courtroom, agents on the spot discovered that salt had been sprayed by the mother of the murderer, without anyone noticing it, beneath the chairs in several parts of the courtroom, well before the beginning of the trial.

Several people argue that this mother, through the use of this “magic spell” within the courtroom, has surprisingly succeeded in getting her son out of a fix by securing the unexpected postponement of her son’s trial.
