Algeria : recipients to pay more for LSP Housing Units

The government has decided to hike the monthly rent prices due to be disbursed by the recipients of new LSP housing units at the national level.

To this effect, the recipients should, henceforth, pay 72,000 dinars instead of the current 60.000 dinars on account of a series of factors, notably the recent price’s spiral of building materials prices on the national market including cement and iron.

However, to redress the balance, the government decided to increase up to 700,000 dinars the state’s own financial contribution for the benefit of low income earners willing to acquire new LSP apartments.

Meanwhile, the Housing Minister Nourredine Moussa yesterday  took to task the construction enterprises urging them to fulfil their commitments by abiding strictly by the technical construction norms as well as by the deadlines set for the achievement of the new housing units.
