Algeria refuses to receive Syrian missions
Bachar Al Assad, Syria's President

Algeria refused many official requests to receive Syrian missions, and pro Syrian regime parties proposed the option of secret meetings, but Algeria was firm and refused to respond to such initiatives, both in secret or in public, official sources told Echorouk.

The same sources confirmed on Saturday  that the Algerian authorities refused to respond to some official attempts by the Syrian Government, in various occasions, to implicate Algeria in the Syrian bloody crisis, but it failed.
“Algeria’s decision towards the Syrian demands based on the Tunisian, Libyan and Egyptian events, as Algeria avoided interfering in their internal affairs, until their peoples decided their own faith and future”, the sources added.
“Algeria still refuses to receive the Syrian president Bachar Al Assad, if he would ask for asylum. This scenario is not realisable”.
“Algeria’s official position of what happened in Syria is clear. It will not support any Syrian party in application to the principle of not interfering it the countries’s internal affairs. Algerian position is firm towards the bloody developments in Syria. It will neither support fighters nor the regime. Algeria supports the peaceful solution between the crisis parties in Syria”.
