Algeria: terrorists kill municipal guard, wound 5 others in Tizi Ouzou

Two municipal guards were killed, 2 others and 3 soldiers were wounded Monday night in a terrorist attack that targeted a detachment of municipal guards in Tizi Ouzou province (100 km east of Algiers).

• The attack started when the terrorists blew up a hand-made bomb and launched a missile at around 1:45 a.m, Echorouk learnt.
• According to corroborating sources, the terrorists started withdrawing after a hand-grenade had gone off on an army patrol. Security forces intervened and the wounded victims were immediately taken to hospital. One of them is in a critical state.
