Algeria / Terrorists take away watchman’s weapon during construction site break-in in Chlef province

Well-informed sources told “Echorouk Al Yaoumi” that a group of terrorists, whose number is still unknown, broke Sunday evening into a public works’ construction site in the locality of Sandjas south of the western city of Chlef, after disarming and belabouring the watchman on duty.

• During the break-in, the terrorists stole a big cement mixer worth about 250 million centimes before roughing up the hapless watchman who was stripped of his weapon, strapped and thrown into a ravine next to the stormed  building site.
• The unfortunate watchman was found several hours later under a bridge in an appalling condition  by passers-by.
• After pulling himself together, the watchman went to the Chlef National Gendarmerie brigade where he made an exhaustive account of the terrorists’ swoop on the targeted construction site.
• This incident comes about 2 weeks after an ill-fated fake road-block which was set up by a terrorist group in the nearby Ouardane area in the same municipality.
