Algeria to announce public promotional houses price before the end of 2013

Algeria’s National Enterprise of Real-estate Promotion is expected to announce the real price of public promotional houses, payment mode and construction sites before the end of the year.

The National Enterprise of Real-estate Promotion submitted a suggestion to the Algerian housing ministry to set 79,000 DZ per one square meter. Payment mode and real-estates were approved as construction works were launched in a number of provinces.

“The Enterprise determined payment mode which will start after applications approval. Applicants will receive mails to come and pay the first part of the house price,” the Enterprise’s CEO told Echorouk on Thursday.

“The second and third parts will be paid through the National Popular Funds which will be in charge of granting loans for applicants with 3 percent interest,” he added.

The Enterprise started receiving applications for the AADL housing project and transferred them to public promotional program as applicants’ salary exceeds authorized limits. Their number is estimated at 5,045. A total of 1,200 applicants were called in to pay the first part while 400 others went to reception centers to get information.

Ordinary applicants will be called in in the end of January. Some 32,000 out of 55,000 downloaded forms. In Algiers, the number of applicants reached 23,000.
