Algeria to integrate retired people

The government transmitted retired people’s files to set a calendar to integrate them as part of public service improvement.

Delegate minister in charge of reforming public service Mohamed Ghazi said administrations concerned by retired people will hold talks with public service officials to fix gradual appointment calendar for some of them.

He told Echorouk his ministry will coordinate with representatives of the interior ministry and the public service general department to reduce documents required in applications for examination tests.

A joint committee in charge of reducing administrative procedures and improving public service issued a report saying a 15,573-job-deficit was noticed in the Civil Protection Department while municipalities need 878 cleanness inspectors.

Earlier, the interior ministry announced that it needs 16,451 new jobs but it is said the finance ministry refuse to grant new jobs to cover the deficit.
