Algeria: traffic accidents in bad weather kill 11

Traffic accidents claimed 11 lives.

At least 11 people were killed and 30 were injured in 10 traffic accidents in Algerian national roads due to bad weather which has hit the country for two days, according to services of the National Gendarmerie and Civil Protection.

 A TV bus crashed into a truck on Saturday in Bouira province (120 km east of Algiers) injuring 13.

In Algiers, a dangerous accident which occurred in a wasteland took a 12-year-old boy’s life while a driver was killed as his truck deviated from a national road between Guelma and Annaba (east of Algiers).

 

In Menea, two people were killed and six others were injured after a car had deviated.

 A person died and another one was seriously injured in a collision between between a truck and a car in the province of Djelfa while another collision killed a man in Sidi Belabbes (west of Algiers).
