Algeria : two railway bombs kill 2
The railway attack came two days after a bomb at a police barracks eastern Algeria.
Two bombs went off Sunday at around 5:45 pm in Bni Amrane village in Boumerdes (50 km east of Algiers) killing two people.

The first bomb exploded at a railway station while the second hand-made bomb went off at a touristy complex, according to Echorouk’s sources.

One of the victims was French while the other one was Algerian. They were killed as they were in a car at the railway station entrance at the same time with the explosion. Many people were wounded including two firefighters and a soldier.

Grave damages were recorded at the railway station while the second bomb did not cause big losses, said the same sources.

It is believed that the French victim would be a worker at a company in charge of railways maintenance at Lakhdaria tunnel.
