Algerian football squad is expected to fly to Dakar Thursday to play a match against Senegal’s national squad next Saturday.The Algerian delegation will leave Paris at around 4:30 pm to arrive to Dakar at around 10:30 pm.

The national squad will carry out a training seance in Dakar on Friday in the stadium where the match is due to take place.

Technical staff preferred to carry out one training seance only to avoid possible pressure by Senegal’s audience on the Green in the training seances.

FAF’s president meets the players

The president of the Algerian Federation of Football (FAF) Abdelhamid Hedadj met the national players at Leonardo Divenchi hotel Wednesday and talked to some of them especially Antar Yahia and Zerabi.

Senegalese player: “Rafiq Saifi is a real danger to us”

Senegal’s international player at New Castle Abdou Allay Diang Fai warned his fellows Tuesday of the player Rafiq Saifi who he described as the real danger on his squad.

He told Senegal’s news agency: “Saifi is a talented and very strong player. Be sure that I will warn my fellows who know him especially after the season he played for FC Lorient.

The second match between Algeria’s football club and Liberia scheduled for June 6th in Algeria will be conducted by three Mauritanian referees: Oueld Lamghambioudgh Mohamed, Montagha Sada and Abdelaziz Sal. The fourth referee is Loud Ali Lameghifri while the match commissioner will be Mohamed Moufid from Morocoo.
