Algeria vs Senegal: Green resolved to hunt Lions of Teranga

Algerian football squad is expected to fly to Dakar Thursday to play a match against Senegal’s national squad next Saturday.The Algerian delegation will leave Paris at around 4:30 pm to arrive to Dakar at around 10:30 pm.

• One training seance in Dakar 
• The national squad will carry out a training seance in Dakar on Friday in the stadium where the match is due to take place.
• Technical staff preferred to carry out one training seance only to avoid possible pressure by Senegal’s audience on the Green in the training seances.
• Saadane afraid of the turf
• Algerian football squad’s coach Rabeh Saadane said he hopes to play on a nice turf in view of the great capacities of the national players.
• He added that he would determine his team’s way of playing after checking the turf.
• Will power
• The Green showed a strong will power especially that most of them want to take revenge on their exclusion at the last minute from the African Cup in Ghana.
• The players expressed their hope to win the match and make a fresh start in qualifications which give them priority in the forthcoming matches.

 Ziani’s level is still good

• Karim Ziani maintained all his physical and technical skills although he has been absent from his club Marseille for a long time. He showed great capacities in training seances which confirm that his exclusion from Olympique Marseille has nothing to do with his level.
• Hamdani talked to Barbara TV
• Glascow’s player Brahim Hamdani had a long interview with TV channel Barbara TV which made a long report on the national squad and interviewed Rabeh Saadane and two other players: Lounes Guaouaoui and Rafiq Saifi.
• Belhadj denies contacts with Portsmouth
• Nadir Belhadj said he did not receive any call from the English Portsmouth club but he would be very happy if it called him.
• He added that he is concentrated with the national squad and he did not receive any official offer. He mentioned a possibility of staying with Lens for another season if there are no serious offers.
• Islam, the youngest supporter of the Green in Paris
• An Algerian supporter living in Paris came to Leonardo Divenchi hotel with his 5-month-old son Tuesday where he got warm welcome from the green. They took a picture with the baby Islam; which made his father very happy.
• Hamdani: I am honoured to play for the national club
• Brahim Hamdani expressed his delight for playing for the national squad in Algeria. He said the climate is wonderful in the club following a first training séance.
• FAF’s president meets the players
• The president of the Algerian Federation of Football (FAF) Abdelhamid Hedadj met the national players at Leonardo Divenchi hotel Wednesday and talked to some of them especially Antar Yahia and Zerabi.
• He hoped that the national club makes a positive result before the match against Liberia in Blida (70 km west of Algiers) on June 6th.
• Senegalese player: “Rafiq Saifi is a real danger to us”
• Senegal’s international player at New Castle Abdou Allay Diang Fai warned his fellows Tuesday of the player Rafiq Saifi who he described as the real danger on his squad.
• He told Senegal’s news agency: “Saifi is a talented and very strong player. Be sure that I will warn my fellows who know him especially after the season he played for FC Lorient.
• Asked about the national squad, he said “we respect the Algerian club which enjoys excellent players working on achieving positive results for their club.”
• Referees from Ghana to conduct the match
• The match Algeria vs Senegal will be conducted by three referees from Ghana: Alex Kouti, Harouna Ayouba and Badio Ibrahim. The fourth referee is Aghboufi William while the match commissioner will be the Egyptian Noussayer Fethi.
• Match Algeria vs Liberia to be conducted by Mauritanian referees
• The second match between Algeria’s football club and Liberia scheduled for June 6th in Algeria will be conducted by three Mauritanian referees: Oueld Lamghambioudgh Mohamed, Montagha Sada and Abdelaziz Sal. The fourth referee is Loud Ali Lameghifri while the match commissioner will be Mohamed Moufid from Morocoo.
