  • The same source has revealed to Echourok that Algeria refuses the Egyptians’ apologies for the time being especially that they have sullied the memory of the martyrs and insulted the Algerian revolution’s symbols.
  •
  • He further added “ The wound didn’t heal yet and do not think that there is anybody who accepts to give his principles and dignity, this why the Algerians refuse to talk about reconciliation and refuse even the idea of thinking of receiving apologies from the Egyptians”.
  •
  • “There is no room for flatteries, the Egyptians have not only made a mistake; but have also gone far and took advantage of the goodness of the Algerian people to accuse it and trap it”, he added.
  •
  • By contrast, the source has ruled out any likely meeting in the offing between the two presidents of the federations in a bid to seal reconciliation’s accord, indicating this eventuality is excluded for the moment and even for the upcoming months.
  •
  • “ I don’t think that the president Mohammed Rouaraoua will reconsider his decision and is not thinking of meeting Samer Zaher even if this one apologies because the mistake is huge and the cut is deep” , he said.
  •
  • It should be noted that the President of the Algerian Football Federation Mohammed Raouraoua is not putting on his agenda a date for a meeting with His Egyptian counterpart for the upcoming months, denying thus the Egyptians allegations concerning a likely meeting between the two officials in the Qatari capital as part of Raouraoua’s visit to this country at the end of this week.
