Algeria’s Meghni, Bouazza and Belhadj get go-ahead to play World Cup

Professor Chalabi gave the go-ahead to Algeria’s players Mourad Meghni, Nadir Belhadj and Amer Bouazza to play in the World Cup in South Africa after he had looker after them in Qatar.

• “No worry about Bouazza, Meghni and Belhadj as they all recovered,” Chalabi said in a meeting held on Saturday with the president of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) and national coach.

• The coach and the FAF’s president asked the professor a number of questions about Meghni who spend the longest time in Doha. The answers were reassuring as Chalabi said he totally recovered and he needs a physical work to reach his real level.

• The FAF’s president officially suggested to Professor Chalabi to join the medical staff of the national team in the World Cup. The invitation was accepted.
•  
• The professor will attend the Algerian players’ training in Switzerland and Germany.
