Algeria’s Meghni, Bouazza and Belhadj get go-ahead to play World Cup

Professor Chalabi gave the go-ahead to Algeria’s players Mourad Meghni, Nadir Belhadj and Amer Bouazza to play in the World Cup in South Africa after he had looker after them in Qatar.

“No worry about Bouazza, Meghni and Belhadj as they all recovered,” Chalabi said in a meeting held on Saturday with the president of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) and national coach.

The coach and the FAF’s president asked the professor a number of questions about Meghni who spend the longest time in Doha. The answers were reassuring as Chalabi said he totally recovered and he needs a physical work to reach his real level.

The FAF’s president officially suggested to Professor Chalabi to join the medical staff of the national team in the World Cup. The invitation was accepted.

The professor will attend the Algerian players’ training in Switzerland and Germany.
