Algeria:Certificates equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree for 60 thousand teachers and professors

The training process for the benefit of elementary and basic education teachers as well as arts, sports and music professors across the national territory will take place during the upcoming school holiday periods and will culminate in the granting to the laureates of a certificate equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in order to allow them to join the ranks of the already promoted teachers and professors of all 3 cycles taken together.

Well-informed sources told Echorouk that the national education ministry had instructed the education directorates in the country’s 48 provinces to proceedwith the taking of an exhaustive census of all the teachers concerned by this training process to be conducted under the close supervision of seasoned professors with the focus being mostly on the theoretical side.

The national education ministry has also seen to it that such staggered teachers’ training will also be duly provided to those concerned online thanks to the Internet within various selected school facilities under the guidance of relevant education inspectors and supervisors.

In case of success in the planned training process, the hopeful teachers will be officially allotted a certificate equivalent to a B.A degree and will climb on the classification scale with primary school teachers being classified in grade 11 instead of 10 presently, and basic education teachers classified in grade 12 instead of 11 with the prospects for further professional advancement wide open in the future in accordance with every one’s developed skills and work performance.
