Algerian Army detect terrorists' warehouses in Boumerdes

Algerian security forces said they detected a workshop for manufacturing and storing explosives east of Boumerdes province. They recovered quantities of explosives and materials which were stored by Droudkel’s terrorist group in order to use them in their terrorist operations in Boumerdes, east of Algiers.

• This operation by the security forces came after a series of confessions by the Emir of Al Ansar battalion, who surrendered recently, and Amine Ben Touati called “Abou Tamime”, who said there are warehouses containing weapons and explosives in Boumerdes. The most important of these warehouses, belonging to Al Ansari, was detected in Deles Monday.
• Al Ansari was the Emir of many sub-battalions, including “El Marikh”, a very dangerous and active terrorist group in the region. He guided the Algeria Army and showed them two warehouses containing of huge quantities of TNT which are mainly used manufacturing bombs, and explosive plates.
• The quantity of TNT exceeded 800 kg inside 12 barrels of 100 litters. The second warehouse contained numbers of cars which were used in car bombings, as well as cars which were prepared for other car bombings.
