Algerian army killed a terrorist in Boumerdes

Algerian army killed Wednesday a terrorist called “Amr Ben Titraoui” nicknamed “Yahia Abou Kheithama” inside a restaurant in Boumerdes locality, east of Algiers.  

• Investigation by the security forces found that he is the leader of “Al Fatah” battalion, active under the GSPC terrorist group and Droudkel’s leadership.
• Special team, belonging to the army monitored his moves when he left a stronghold in Tidjellabine towards Boumerdes. He was asked to stop in one checkpoint by the security forces; however he refused and fled then hided in a popular restaurant, where he was finally caught.
• Terrorist “Yahia Abou Khathima”, also known as “Ilyas” was born in Korso, Boumerdes locality east of Algiers in 1979. He joined “Al Fatah” terrorist battalion under the leadership of Hassan Hatab in 1995. He became its leader in Bouzegga Mountains.
• “Al Fatah” sub- battalion was active under “Al Ghoraba” battalion which turned to a cell for recruiting suicide bombers. “Al-Fatah” is the most important sub-battalion in the second region, as well as “Al Ansar” and “Al Arkam”.
