Algerian authorities to reveal new data in Al Khalifa’s case

The Algerian justice minister, Tayeb Belaiz declared that the lawyer of the defendant Abdelmoumen khalifa, wanted by the Algerian justice authorities, has the right to use all the means to defend his client, including casting doubt on the Algerian justice, and that the Algerian authorities will reveal its arguments during this week’s hearings.

• On the sidelines of an international conference, the minister replied to “ “Echourouk”  saying that Al Khalifa’s  case was not an exceptional one a normal one and was about to see its final judiciary procedures.
• On an another aspect, the minister declared that the implementation of judicial sentences was pivotal and necessary for the promotion of justice, and not doing so will affect and throw discredit on that justice.
• I this respect, he added, the Algerian authorities fulfilled this condition through a huge justice reform program which meets the new economic, social an political changes to make it tally with the international commitments.
