Algerian authorities vow to fight terrorism till the end

Addressing the cabinet Sunday, the Algerian president Abdelaziz Bouteflika reiterated the authorities’ will to carry on the reconciliation process which he declared “has been chosen by the Algerian people in a move to heal the wounds contribute to extract terrorism from the country”.

• The second cabinet meeting since the anointing of Ahmed Ouyahiya on top of the government, was an opportunity to pay tribute to the dead civilians in the last terror attacks carried out suicide bombers in the regions of Bouira, Isser, tizi ouzou, Zemouri, jidjel and Batna causing scores of dead and injured.
• In parallel to its will to keep going on the reconciliation process as expressed few days only after the deadly attacks, the government made it clear that the fight against terrorism will carry on till the elimination of the its remnants.
• The Algerian authorities stand comes as response to some parties which cast doubt on the this process, in addition to terrorist escalation trying to lure the public opinion as to the power of these groups to hit anywhere at any time.
