Algerian coach Benchikha to add local players to the team and Doukha as goalkeeper

Sources closer to the Algerian coach Abdelhak Benshikha told Echorouk newspaper that he is not thinking in bringing back the goalkeeper Fawzi Chaouchi for both local and national teams despite his last pleads and efforts of many officials to open a new page with him since he promised to honor his name and reputation .

Echorouk sources asserted that the Algerian coach did not put the goalkeeper Chaouchi within his priorities or interests; although some people talked about the FAF decision to pardon him and give his another opportunity to desist from his mistakes and respects the rules of discipline within the Algerian squad.

Same sources added that Benshikha is not satisfied about the level of local goalkeepers, with the exception of USMH goalkeeper Doukha who showed good performance in many matches, but the others can neither honor the Algerian team nor become international goalkeepers and play in the African Championship for locals that will take place in Sudan on February 2011.
