Algerian coach Rabah Saadane meets journalists pending friendly match.

The Algerian head coach Rabah Saadane decided to gather his players at the Hilton hotel in Algiers as from today Sunday as part of the national squad preparations for the upcoming official matches, while five internationals will miss the first day of the meeting for various motives.

• Santander’s , Spain, striker Kamel Ghiles will take part in the fixture against Cantelon while the freshly selected Abdelkader Ghazel will play with his team Sienna this night against Sampdoria in the Italian league.

• For their parts, Rafik Djebbour and karim Ziani will also be absent on Sunday as the first one play with his club, AEK Athens against Larissa in the Greek league while the second one take part in a decisive match against Bordeaux in the French league.

• Rafik Haliche will play tonight against Madeira Naval in the Portuguese league.
• Both Matmour and Antar Yahia will join their team mates tonight after playing with their clubs, Manchengladbach and Bochum against respectively, the leader of German league Hoffeinheim and Wolfsburgh. For his part, Nadir Belhadj yesterday took part with his club Portsmouth against the leader Liverpool.
• Benin Squad in Algerian on Tuesday:
• Pending the friendly match slated for Wednesday against the Algerian squad, Benin is due to arrive on Tuesday coming from France after a week long training camp there. Benin French coach, Michel will organize one training session only on the main pitch at Tchaker stadium in Blida (40 kms from Algiers).
• To recall, the head coach, Rabah Saadane will meet the journalists in a press conference today at the Hilton’s hotel conference room.
