Algerian doctors' representative in Jordan to bring 5 Iraqi ill children for surgery

Algerian representative at the general secretariat of the Arab Doctors' Union Dr.Mustafa Kaseb arrived Saturday to Algeria on a mission to negotiate with some Iraqi and Jordanian doctors to obtain medical files of five Iraqis children suffering from heart congenital deformities.

• They had remained for almost three whole months inside a church hidden by the charity Israeli committee ( Chafit Akhim) which was insuring their transfer to Tel Aviv.
• On the sidelines of the international conference on  the ethics of the medical field held at the university of Tiaret( west of Algeria), Dr. Bekat Berkani Mohamed – president of the National Council of Algerian Deanery Doctors said that Dr. Mostafa Kaseb caught the plane towards the Italian city Milan, then towards the Jordanian capital Amman for a mission to bring the Iraqi children’s files who constituted the second batch. They will be handled in Algeria after the first batch composed of three Iraqi children aged between one and six years and who were accompanied by their mothers on the last  May 23. They undergone delicate surgery at the heart in one of the private medical clinics in Ain Taia –in Algiers. They still pass the convalescence period awaiting for their travel to Iraq in the few coming days after the improvement of their health, according to Dr.Bekat.
• Dr.Bekat added that Dr Kaseb’s is present in Jordan to bring their files, whose number may be six or more. In both cases, Algerian doctors are ready to assist those children under the hard conditions of the Iraqi people because of war.
