Algerian experts to be trained in Japan
Algerian Public Works Minister, Ammar Ghoul.
A group of 20 engineers and experts will tomorrow fly to Japan as part of a large program initiated by the public works ministry in which an overall number of 90 experts are set to follow a training by Japanese experts in order to acquire the latest technologies in this field and more specifically in anti-seismic ones.

This training session is part of the deal sealed last April between the ministry and the Japanese group “COJAL”, one of the various companies selected to work on the east-west highway, in which one of the provisions talk about the training of the Algerian experts.

The Algerian minister, Ammar Ghoul declared that this agreement aims at training new breed of managers and experts able to take on future giant projects.

The minister added that this deal, a first of its kind in Algeria, highlights the future vision of his sector and will certainly break the bonds with foreign partners as concerns future mega projects.
