Algerian farmers call for the governement to subsidize agriculture goods
The national chamber of farmers and the farmers’ union called the government to intervene in order subsidize the agriculture products in order to offset the losses due to the slumping prices following the increase of outcome.

Despite the convergence of the views of the two institutions, the general secretary of the Union’s farmers Mohammed Alioui sees that the Algeria doesn’t posses the required facilities to stock and freeze meat .

For his part, the head of the national chamber of agriculture, Mohammed Cherif Ould Hocine, considers that the Algerian authorities possess the means to subsidize the surplus which will serve in the future.

In this respect he added, the government can easily buy the huge quantities of meat from the stock breeders with a referential price of 500 Algerian Dinars and freeze them to be sold during the holly of Ramadhan.
