Algerian Flight Company to increase salaries by June

The board of directors of the Algeria flight company, led by the general manager yesterday met to officially announce the future salaries’ increase set to be in force before June31.

• According to the flight company’s union representative, the pilots’ drain towards foreign companies is still continuing, as more than 5 pilots moved to the Moroccan and Jordan airlines over the last few months, attracted by huge salaries and other incentives.
• In a declaration to “Echourouk” the union’s general secretary declared that the company is facing fierce competition from neighboring ones, including Tunisia and Morocco which became the new “El -Dorado” for the Algerian pilots while in the recent past were moving to the Gulf flight companies.
