The head of the Algerian Football Association (FAF), Abdlhamid Hadadj will meet in an extraordinary session with the rest of the members to discuss several important questions on top of them the case of the football club of Kouba which is due to be included to the first league, following the decision of the international ports tribunal that ruled in its favour.

  • M Hadadj wants to associates everybody in the decision making to avoid criticism as it was the case with his recent unilateral decisions that cast discredit on the institution he chairs.
  • According to an influential member, the FAF will elaborate a new timetable in accordance with the new situation raising the number of the Algerian clubs competing in the first league to 17 instead of 16. Moreover, the meeting will prepare the Algerian squad travel to Liberia as part of he last fixture counting for the combined world and African cup qualifiers due to take place next Saturday.

  • The head of the Algerian Football Association didn’t confer with his collaborators for more than 3 months sparking, thus anger among them to an extent that a reliable source, revealed that some members will not take part in tomorrow’s meeting in which a date for the next elections will be fixed.

  • The club’s general secretary, kamel Oughliss declared that his team will start the competition with a high spirit and doesn’t feel concerned by the new schedule despite the important number of delayed fixtures (7), “ We  recovered our right legally as the international sports tribunal ruled in our favour; we’re ready for the competition and not anxious concerning the number of fixtures”, he said.
