Algerian football national coach not satisfied of preparation conditions
The Algerian squad.

Algerian football squad’ coach Rabeh Saadane Tuesday said he will do his best to scored 12 in World Cup and Africa Cup of Nations preliminaries.

  • Saadnae said his team is able to do that by wining matches in Algeria against Gambia or Liberia.
  • The defeat of Algeria in its match against Senegal was not a big deal for Rabeh Saadane. He considered that as “normal” and said he was convinced in his team’s performance.
  • Referee responsible for defeat against Senegal
  • According to Saadane, Algeria lost the match because of the bad arbitrage. “I do not understand why the referee cancelled Rafik Saifi’s goal in the first half of the match.”
  • “The referee was clever. He knew how to hinder the Algerian players and always give priority to the Senegalese,” he told journalists.
  • National coach optimistic
  • The national coach said he checked the tape of the match Liberia vs Libya and he will try to study the adversary’s weak and strong points.
  • It’s a shame to prepare in a hotel
  • Rabeh Saadane said he is sorry for preparation conditions of the national squad which he described as catastrophe. “It is a shame to prepare in a touristy hotel. It’s time to build a preparation centre for national squads to avoid any problems in the future.”
  • Saadane defends Bouazza
  • Rabeh Saadane strongly defended Fulham’s player Amer Bouazza and said he talked a lot to him after the match against Senegal. “It was me who gave him the go-ahead to leave the squad.”
  • According to Saadane, Bouazza left the squad because of some problems with his Fulham club. He said he had been told that his salary would be stopped if he continued playing without treating his injury.
  • Saadane said he is expecting Bouazza to come back soon as the squad needs his services at present.
  • Hamdani Brahim will not play in the national squad’s matches in next June as he was injured in the second half of the match vs Senegal.
