Algerian football squad is roaming in uncertainty

While huge incentives are promised to the Algerian squad in case of a qualification to the 2010 world and African cup by the head of the Algerian Football Association, this one settled for looking at the incentives allotted to the amateur's national squad after the qualification in the first African Cup of Nations for amateurs in Ivory Coast .

During their training camp in the Sheraton Hotel here in Algiers , the players declared that they were only hoping to represent their country as best as possible adding that the officials promised to allot them incentives but didn’t fix the amount as it is the case with the “professional” squad.

The players felt a kind of disregard and lack of consideration from the officials at a time when they are preparing to play a decisive match against Morocco hopping to win a ticket for this new competition.

The technical staff remains a big enigma

In addition to these inconveniences ahead of this important event, the staff of the team, according to the Algerian Football Association will quit soon after the qualification, forcing the decision makers at this administration to start afresh and anoint another staff to coach the Algerian squad.
