Algerian Foreign Affairs Minister urges to reactivate community’s role in local development

Algerian Foreign Affairs Minister Mourad Medelsi Sunday called for the necessity to reactivate the role of national community abroad in the country’s development.

• Medesli said the Algerian community abroad constitutes a main part of the nation and its integration in the national solidarity sector is necessary.
• In a meeting with presidents of diplomatic and consulate representations, the minister considered that the integration would allow Algeria benefiting from the energy of the community abroad in knowledge and resources field.
• “It will also link the community to the rest of the Algerian people who must know what the national community abroad represents,” he added.
• For his part, Algerian Solidarity Minister Djamel Oueld Abbas said his ministerial sector will work on the protection of the Algerian community’s rights abroad.
