Algerian goalkeeper Meboulhi prefers playing in English clubs

Chief executive of Salvias Sofia Bulgarian club Stefanov sees in the brilliance of Algeria’s team goalkeeper Rais Wahab Meboulhi during the World Cup a great opportunity for his club to sell him with the highest price possible, because he has become among the players that attracted many clubs.

 

• According to sources close to the Algerian goalkeeper, he will not stay at the Bulgarian league after he showed a good performance during the season in the Bulgarian club and then during the World Cup, especially in the match Algeria v England and Algeria v USA, as he was ranked among the best goalkeepers in the World Cup.

• Meboulhi wants to be part of one of the large European championships and specifically in the English premier in which the 24-year hero sees a good opportunity to meet important players and play at the highest level during the season. However, the problem, which would face him, will be the chief executive who intends to raise the price of his goalkeeper in order to sell him to the club that would pay the highest amounts of money, thing that would encourage Meboulhi to play in the Russian championship, because he received offers from many Russian clubs, after offers from the English clubs, including Newcastle, which expressed interest to join him since the end of the last season.

• In the same context, Newcastle coach, who denied intending to join the Algerian goalkeeper, is only playing games, because European clubs usually do this in order to reduce the price of players.
