Algerian government establishes five centres for homeless people
Algerian homless since many years ago

Algerian government has established, following a governmental decree, an office for the social assistance, to organize the operation of guiding and receiving homeless people toward five centres, in addition to helping people to join their relatives.

  • This kind of centres existed only in Algiers, where there is only one centre at the national level, which was exposed during the last weeks to an alarming blaze, destroying its walls, that is why the government decided to build five social centres at the national level, which are spread across Algeria’s province including Algiers, Constantine, Oran and Bechar, to establish and build various centres across the provinces.
  • As stated in n° 41 of the official gazette, these centres will receive people who have no houses, and integrating some of them among their families.
