Algerian illegal Immigrant Murdered by a Romanian in Italy
Italian police found on Friday night, the dead body of an Algerian immigrant, inside an a abandoned building in the area of Vitoria in Ragusa, in Sicily, southern Italy, where they arrested four immigrants from Romania, who are suspected of killing the Algerian immigrant.
Italian News Agency “ANSA” quoted police as saying that the Algerian immigrant is residing illegally in Italy, and works in the agricultural fields of the region, adding that the victim is called “Miloud Halilef” 42, who lived 10 months in the abandoned building along with four Romanian immigrants, as the police noted the effects of hits and injuries at the level of the neck and chest, and notified these details in its report.
The same sources asserted that the four Romanians were arrested and interrogated, as police remarked contradictions in a statement of one named Jorgy Marsal 27, therefor the investigating judge ordered his imprisonment as the main suspect in the murder, and he was charged with the deliberate murder, with the release of the other three Romanians, who will be summoned for more investigations later.
According to preliminary police investigations, the Algerian victim received fatal strokes by a metal barrel at the level of the skull, neck and chest, which killed him. The judge ordered the presentation of the corpse to the autopsy services, to determine the real cause of the death, before taking the body to Algeria.
This incident is the second among the Algerian illegal immigrants in Italy, after the murder in Tirlitsi on the outskirts of Bary, where the body of an Algerian illegal immigrants was found in a swimming pool of a villa where he worked as a gardener and live illegaly there.
