Ten Algerian illegal immigrants escaped from an immigration center before they had been kicked out in Sicily in Italy. They jumped from a 10-meter-high fence to flee the “hell” they were living in the center.

Italian media reported that the Algerians escaped on Thursday after midnight. They climbed the fence which surrounded the center. Five of them managed to run away while four were caught.

Italian policemen were beaten by the arrested illegal immigrants. Four of them were wounded and taken to a medical clinic, according to the same source.

The Italian police arrested two Algerian immigrants, accusing them of violence. They are Djelil Djellab, 30, and Mohamed Rafik Amoura, 22.
