Algerian international striker Amer Bouazza was subject to a fierce campaign by fans of the Spanish club Racing Santander, who have accused him of racism for refusing to shake hands with his teammate, Israeli Guy Asulin, who replaced him during the match against the second team of FC Barcelona in the 15th round of the Spanish second division championship.

According to media reports, the Spanish club Fans attacked Bouazza strongly, and accused him of racial discrimination against the Israeli player, as some demanded through their comments on “Twitter” to punish Bouazza due to his refusal to shake his hand with his teammate, and others called upon the club’s officials to sell the player in the next winter market, and to punish him for failing to offer any positive performence to the club.

In response to the attacks on Bouazza, some Algerian fans across the same network, expressed their solidarity with the Algerian national team’s player, as most of them commented that Bouazza, did not deliberately insult his teammate, but expressed anger towards the coach who decided to replace him five minutes before the end of the first half.

In contrast some “Twitter” members salute Bouazza, of deliberate ignorance to his Israeli teammate in solidarity with the Palestinian brothers in Gaza, who have been bombarded by the Zionist occupation forces recently, and called Bouazza to leaving club Racing Santander in the next “Mercato winter” because staying in the Spanish club is a sportive normalization with Israel.

However, Bouazza did not comment on the criticism and accusations against him by the team’s fans, who have shown solidarity with the Israeli player, brought last season, from the second team of Barcelona.

Previously, Bouazza was subjected to racist chants, a month ago in one of the Spanish championships.
