Algerian migrants make of Algeria a point for exporting cannabis to Europe

Trial of two young Algerian migrants who live a French city, revealed their implication in the smuggling of significant quantities of cannabis from Algeria to France, and the gang is distributed between the two countries and have already smuggled years large quantities of drugs through the port of Oran (western Algeria), by hiding them tightly in their car, until the services of customs at the port of Algiers arrested the principal accused who decided to smuggle 55 kg of cannabis through the port of Algiers, and exactly on the boat named “Algeria 2” which was heading towards the Spanish city of Alicante.

According to the decision to transfer the accused “K.A” and “A.M”, in front of Algiers Criminal Court on Monday, the first defendant, in his thirties was born and lives in France, said he met the Algerians in France after joining a football team in his city, and they convinced him to participate in bringing drugs from Algeria to Europe, for sums up to 4000 ZDZ and a car.

The accused helped them to enter Algeria via the port of Oran several times, and in the city of Mostaganem (western Algeria), he hands his car to his partners, who load it with drugs that they did not reveal its source, and then he takes care of taking it outside the port Oran.

According to his statement, he managed to escape from customs in three operations, in which he nearly smuggled 1 quintal of drugs in stages, before being arrested in the last operation at Algiers port.
