Associations and organizations of the Algerian community in France, decided to go out in a mass protest in front of the headquarters of the French Senate on 30 November, to condemn and protest against the movement of the former defense minister Gerard Lungi, and his obscene provocative acts against the Algerians, and the campaign of the French right generally against Algeria, which coincided with Algeria’s celebrations of the fifty years of independence.

Coordinator of the movement of Algerian nationals in France, Omar Ait Mokhtar, told Echorouk that the sit in of November 30, in front of the French Senate, would be a response from the sons of Algeria in France to the movement of Gerard Lungi, pointing out that the defense of memory of the martyrs and all those who have sacrificed their lives in the past,is a duty of all the Algerians, and that the sit-ins will be symbolic as it would be out of the French legislative body, which is the Senate, and as is well known he was a former French senator.

Omar Ait Mokhtar, described surprise and astonishment of expats of the Algerian official silence, saying it is applicable and shameless, on this issue, although the movement of Lungi was directed to the Algerians, especially the martyrs who have sacrificed to allow the sons of Algeria to live in dignity and freedom, on the grounds that Algeria officials did not issue any response to what Gerard Lungi did.
movement of Algerian citizens in France and the National Council for Migration in France, called upon all Algerians, and the French Democrats and Republicans, to join the peaceful and humanitarian sit in, and to put an end to this nostalgic idea about a French Algeria by the French right.
