Algerian MP's: PM must answer our questions
Algerian PM Ahmed Ouyahia
Algerian MP's criticised the PM’s refusal to answer their oral and written questions. They said it is unfair because their questions are usually related to important sectors, such as whether the new constitutional amendment obliged the PM Ouyahia to be present in the parliament instead of sending other Minister.

A written question was sent to the Minister of Relations with the Parliament, Mohamed Khoudri, by deputy of the Movement for the National Reform, Saleh Bouchareb, about the repercussions of the recent constitutional amendment on the law which organizes the relationship between both the executive and legislative authorities, and gives a new legal status, after the PM became first minister and not head of the government.

“PM is now more responsible before a deputy, that’s why he has to answer “personally” oral and written questions that are directed to him and not to other ministers”, Saleh Bouchareb said.

MP’s tried, since the issuance of the new instruction, to bring in the PM to the parliament, but they failed and work only with the Ministers in order to answer the citizens’ concerns, or give explanations for issues related to public affairs and national interests.
