Algerian Persident Bouteflika ends latent conflict within goverenment
The Algerian president, Abdelaziz Bouteflika has decided to give free hand to the minister of industry and the promotion of investments, Hamid Temmar after month of tug of war between him and the other members of the government.
Hamid Temmar will be in charge of supervising the public and financial companies after a long period of intense conflict between him and most of his colleagues in the government. According to sources close to the conflict, the president weighed with all his power in this decision even if the draft was signed by his prime minister.
M. Temmar will be in charge of the privatization of public companies as well restructuring the sector.
